Co-Founder

Richard Hodge co-founds Harness Intelligence alongside Jim, driving the strategic vision and innovation at the helm. With a rich history of pioneering ventures, including the Real Learning Company, which left an indelible mark on over 350 Fortune 500 companies, Richard's journey is one of perpetual innovation. From crafting the earliest decision support systems to advancing computer networking, his legacy is woven into the fabric of technological evolution.


With over 50 years of experience in developing professionals and leaders, Richard has cultivated partnerships with top thought leaders and researchers, shaping the landscape of experiential and virtual learning. Now, at Harness, his passion for innovation, leadership, and high-performing teams fuels the mission to unleash the transformative power of Generative AI within organizational intelligence ecosystems. A proud graduate of the USC Marshall School of Business, Richard finds balance in family, flyfishing, and serving on non-profit boards, embodying a life dedicated to innovation both in and out of the office.

Jim brings over 25 years of creative learning design, creating discovery-based experiences to support Leadership, Change, Sales, Onboarding, and personal growth.


A highlight of Jim’s career was leading the development of the Multipliers Simulation, a joint production of BTS and The Wiseman Group. This solution brings to life the concepts from Liz Wiseman’s best-selling book, Multipliers, How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter. The Multipliers Simulation has reached tens of thousands of learners worldwide, across cultures and industries, at every level of leadership from individual contributors to the C-Suite.


Earlier in his career, Jim was an entrepreneur (owner of Business Video Express), a Director of Training (Kinko’s Inc.), and an operations manager (Kinko’s Inc.)

The key lies in crafting the right prompts and providing the right context. Each week, I’ll share a prompt and explain how to use it for maximum impact in your business role. This Week’s Prompt: Mapping Stakeholder Priorities "You are a seasoned business consultant in the [insert] industry. Identify the top three priorities for [specific stakeholder group, e.g., senior leadership, frontline employees, or customers] within [specific context or initiative, e.g., digital transformation, operational efficiency, or customer retention]. Outline actionable strategies that align with these priorities and explain their potential impact on business goals. Include strategies they are likely to already be thinking of, and a few that might be off their radar." How to Use It: Define the AI’s role and the Stakeholder Group you are targeting: In most cases, asking the AI to function as an industry consultant is a good start.
