AI Readiness Pulse Check
Most AI readiness assessments give you one person's opinion. This one shows you where leaders across your organization align, and where they don't.
Get Notified at LaunchThe biggest barrier to AI adoption isn't technology.
It's the conversation that hasn't happened yet. Your CIO sees infrastructure readiness. Your CHRO sees a skills gap. Your business leaders see scattered experiments. Everyone is looking at the same organization and seeing something different.
The Pulse Check doesn't give you a score. It gives you a map of where your leaders agree, where they diverge, and where the real work needs to happen.
How It Works
You Start It
Enter your name, organization, and role. You'll receive a unique group code and a shareable link.
Invite Colleagues
Share the code with 3–8 colleagues across functions — HR, IT, operations, and business leaders. The more perspectives, the richer the picture.
5 Minutes Each
Each person independently completes a research-backed assessment across six dimensions of AI readiness.
See the Full Picture
Once 3+ people complete it, your group report unlocks — showing alignment zones, divergence patterns, and priority gaps.
Six Dimensions of AI Readiness
Synthesized from research by Cisco, McKinsey, Deloitte, MITRE, and BCG. Designed for how organizations actually adopt AI.
Strategic Clarity
Is there a shared understanding of why you're pursuing AI and what success looks like? Or are strategic initiatives disconnected from the experiments happening on the ground?
Cisco • McKinsey • Deloitte • BCGPeople & Skills
Do your people have the skills, confidence, and support to work effectively with AI? Are they satisfied with the tools and training the company provides?
Cisco • McKinsey • Deloitte • BCGData & Infrastructure
Is your data accessible and trustworthy? Do teams have the tools they need, or is shadow AI filling the gaps your approved platforms leave behind?
Cisco • McKinsey • MITREResponsible AI Posture
Do people across your organization understand how AI works — including its risks — well enough to use it creatively and responsibly? Or is governance just a compliance checkbox?
Cisco • MITRE • Deloitte • McKinseyCross-Functional Alignment
Are HR, IT, and business leaders working together on AI — or is each function running its own playbook? This is where adoption stalls most often.
McKinsey • Cisco • MITRE • DeloitteExperimentation & Scaling
Where is the real energy — top-down initiatives or grassroots experimentation? And can your organization move AI projects from pilot to production?
McKinsey • Cisco • BCG • MITRENot a score. A conversation starter.
Your group report is AI-synthesized from your colleagues' responses — not a static scorecard, but a narrative that makes sense of the patterns.
Alignment zones — Where your group shares a common view, whether strong or concerning
Divergence patterns — Where perceptions split, often along functional lines. This is where the real insight lives.
Blind spots — Areas where the group rates high but research suggests risk
Priority map — Where your group sees the most urgent need, ranked collectively

“Your group shows strong alignment on Strategic Clarity (avg 4.1/5, alignment index 0.89) — leadership agrees on the ‘why’ behind AI. However, People & Skills shows significant divergence (avg 3.2/5, alignment index 0.54). Those closest to the workforce rate skill readiness notably lower than senior executives.
This perception gap is one of the most common barriers to AI adoption and often signals that strategic ambition hasn't yet been translated into frontline enablement.”

Your Data Stays Yours
We built the Pulse Check with a simple principle: your organization's AI readiness data belongs to you and only you.
Invisible to Us
Harness Intelligence cannot see your responses or your report. We only know you exist if you choose to share your results with us.
Anonymous Within Your Group
Individual responses are never visible to other participants. The report shows group patterns, not who said what.
Auto-Deleting
Individual response data is discarded after your report is generated. Reports auto-expire after 12 months. Nothing lingers.
Never Sold or Shared
Your data is never shared with third parties, used for marketing, or aggregated into benchmarks. Period.
Our pledge: We built this tool to start conversations, not to collect data. The only way we see your results is if you click “Share with Harness Intelligence” in your report. That button exists because some groups want expert help interpreting their results — but it's entirely your choice.
Grounded in Research
The Pulse Check's six dimensions are synthesized from five major AI readiness frameworks published between 2023–2025.
